Peoria, AZ (October 17, 2019) – Around 11 a.m. this morning, authorities responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident with injuries on the AZ-101 Loop in Peoria.
Police are still investigating the exact circumstances leading up to the collision but it is clear that multiple vehicles were involved in the accident, according to photographs taken at the scene.
It is believed that four or more vehicles were involved in the accident. One of these was identified as a dark gray sedan that had extensive front-end damages. One individual was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be rescued by fire crews.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision where they assisted one or more parties with injuries. Their condition is not known at this time.
No other details are known at this time, but the investigation into the accident continues.
