Peoria, AZ (December 15, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash at 91st Avenue and Thunderbird Road.
Officers said that the crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. Though they say that they’re not sure how the crash occurred and did not release details about the other driver, police commented that the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and was transported to a local area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle cooperated with the police and remained on the scene. Officers don’t believe that impairment was involved in the accident.
Thunderbird Road and 91st Avenue were closed in all directions for several hours while authorities investigated the crash.
