Oro Valley, AZ (June 20, 2019) – On Wednesday night, a pedestrian accident took place on North Oracle Road in Oro Valley that closed down all northbound lanes.

Officials with the Oro Valley Police Department responded to the scene of the accident around 8:30 p.m. A pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries. Fortunately, they have been listed in stable condition.

The driver remained at the scene of the crash to cooperate with the police. Police claim that impairment was not a factor in the crash.

The roadway was closed down for quite some time while drivers were urged to take different routes. The investigation into the accident continues.
