Oro Valley, AZ (November 16, 2019) – The two victims of a deadly crash in Oro Valley on Wednesday have now been identified, according to police.

Caitlin Festerling, 21, and Paul Garcia, 22, were killed in a three-vehicle crash on North Shannon Road and West Sahuaro Divide, per information from Sgt. Carmen Trevizo, a department spokeswoman. Officials from the Oro Valley Police Department said that the two victims were in an Acura traveling north and attempting to make a left turn from Shannon Road onto Sahuaro Divide when their car was rear-ended by a Buick LeSabre. The impact pushed the Acura into the path of a GMC Sierra traveling southbound. 

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash, and no citations have been issued at this time. Police have not released the latest conditions of the other individuals involved in the crash.
