Mesa, AZ – Two Killed in Fatal Car Accident on Recker Road


Mesa, AZ (August 1, 2019) – On Wednesday night, July 31, police responded to the scene of a fatal car accident that took place on Recker Road and led to two fatalities.

At the time, authorities claim that a pickup truck was traveling south when he suddenly ran a red light and t-boned another vehicle driving in the opposite direction.

The 32-year-old driver and his 23-year-old passenger in the vehicle that was struck were pronounced dead at the scene. The 57-year-old female driver of the pickup truck, whose name has not been released, was hospitalized with injuries.

Police are not sure of the circumstances leading up to the crash but continue to investigate.
