Mesa, AZ (October 22, 2020) – A multi-car crash on US 60 near Mill Avenue resulted in at least one injury on Thursday afternoon.

According to officers from the Mesa Police Department, emergency crews and local authorities were called to the scene near Mill Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Authorities say an SUV was traveling westbound on US 60 when it collided with another passenger vehicle in the right lane at the Mill Avenue on-ramp, causing an accident that may have involved additional cars. The area was closed while police worked to clear the scene and investigate the wreck. However, they haven’t released further details on the events leading up to the collision.

EMTs also responded to the scene shortly after the wreck occurred to treat victims, though the severity of the victims’ injuries is unclear.
