Mesa, AZ (June 27, 2019) – Early this afternoon, Mesa Police arrived at the scene of a car crash that took place at a local intersection in Mesa and caused a police presence.

The accident, which completely closed down the intersection of Southern Avenue and Sossaman Road, involved various vehicles who collided for reasons that are not yet known.

The accident allegedly took place during the lunch hour and drivers were cautioned to take another route, as the roadway was closed down for multiple hours while police investigated.

Paramedics were on the scene offering assistance to those who were injured in this accident. The investigation into the circumstances of the crash continues at this time.
