Mesa, AZ – Rear-End Crash Causes Injury on L-101 at Southern Ave


Mesa, AZ (May 18, 2020) – At least one person was injured in a car accident on Monday after their vehicle was rear-ended on Loop 101.

According to officers from the Mesa Police Department, the accident occurred on L-101 southbound, also known as the Price Freeway, near Southern Avenue around 5:30 p.m. It appears that a box truck and at least one other sedan were involved in the wreck. Phoenix paramedics were at the scene to transport victims to a local area hospital. The extent of the injuries the victims sustained is not known at this time.

Police are still investigating the incident and have not released any additional information at this time.
