Mesa, AZ (July 11, 2020) – A multi-vehicle wreck blocked the left lanes of Loop 202 just west of Loop 101 on Friday afternoon and resulted in at least one injury.

According to officials at the scene, it appears that at least two sedans collided on L-202 westbound, also known as the Red Mountain Freeway, at L-101 Price around 6:45 p.m. Fire rescue units, as well as officers from the Mesa Police Department, responded to the crash shortly after it occurred and assisted injured victims. Authorities were also working to determine the cause of the wreck, though the drivers’ information is not known at this time.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
