Mesa, AZ – Multi-Vehicle Crash Blocks Right Lanes on I-10 Near 16th St


Mesa, AZ (July 28, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident on Sunday, July 28th, blocked the right lanes of I-10 eastbound near 16th Street.

According to authorities on the scene, at least two vehicles appeared to be involved in the collision, which occurred when they collided in the right lanes while traveling eastbound on I-10, also known as the Papago Freeway, near 16th Street. Police and fire rescue units responded to the wreck around 4:28 p.m. to assist injured victims and investigate the cause of the incident.

All lanes reopened just before 6:00 p.m., but the drivers’ identities and their conditions have not yet been released.
