Mesa, AZ (March 14, 2020) – A multi-vehicle accident on Saturday morning blocked the right lane of the Kyrene Road on-ramp on Loop 202 and resulted in at least one serious injury.

Officials on the scene say that the car crash occurred just before 7:00 a.m. and involved at least two vehicles, which collided in the Kyrene on-ramp of L-202 eastbound, also known as the Santan Freeway. Police and fire rescue units were at the site of the accident, assisting injured victims and investigating the cause of the crash. However, the drivers’ information and their current conditions have not been released at this time.

The accident remains under investigation.
