Mesa, AZ (February 27, 2020) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a dump truck on Thursday morning near Mesa.

Sgt. Calbert Gillett from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said that MCSO deputies responded to a call about the crash around 6:30 a.m. on Broadway Road, between Crismon Road and Ellsworth Road. When they arrived on the scene, deputies found that the motorcyclist had sustained life-threatening injuries. He was transported to an area hospital via ambulance.

Gillett said MCSO traffic detectives are still investigating the incident, and no further information has been released.
