Mesa, AZ – Injuries Reported in Multi-Car Crash on L-101 at Baseline Rd

Mesa, AZ (December 12, 2019) – A multi-car accident blocked the left two lanes of Loop 101 at Baseline Road on Thursday and resulted in at least one serious injury.

Officials at the scene say that the crash occurred when at least two sedans and an SUV collided in the left lanes of L-101 northbound, also known as the Price Freeway, at Baseline Road around 8:00 p.m. Fire rescue units, as well as the local police offers from the Mesa Police Department, responded to the crash to assist victims. However, authorities have not determined the cause of the crash or released the drivers’ information at this time.

Mesa EMTs were also at the scene and appeared to transport one victim to the hospital, though it’s not clear if that victim sustained life-threatening injuries.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
