Mesa, AZ (January 13, 2020) – A multi-vehicle wreck blocked the right lanes of Loop 202 before Loop 101 on Monday evening and resulted in at least one injury.
According to officials at the scene, it appears that two sedans collided on L-202 westbound, also known as the Red Mountain Freeway, at L-101 Pima southbound around 7:43 p.m. Fire rescue units, as well as officers from the Mesa Police Department, responded to the crash shortly after it occurred and assisted injured victims. Authorities were also working to determine the cause of the wreck, though the drivers’ information is not known at this time.
The accident remains under investigation.
