Marana, AZ – Truck Collision Shuts Down I-10


Marana, AZ (October 7, 2019) – Two semi-trucks collided near Marana on Monday, shutting down Interstate 10.

According to officials from Northwest Fire District, one person sustained injuries in the crash. Eastbound I-10 at milepost 236 was closed after the two trucks collided near the Marana off-ramp so that authorities could investigate. Both drivers were able to pull to the shoulder so that police could take statements.

The injured party was transported to an area hospital by paramedics. It is unclear if other victims were treated at the scene, and the victims’ information has not been released at this time.
