Littlefield, AZ – Driver Hospitalized After Truck Accident on I-15


Littlefield, AZ (July 25, 2019) – Police were called to the scene of a truck accident that took place on Interstate 15 in Littlefield, in the area of the Virgin River Gorge on Thursday morning.

According to police, the crash took place around 4:25 a.m. Police confirmed that the crash took place in the southbound lanes of the Interstate in an accident involving a 2017 Freightliner semitractor-trailer.

The accident occurred when the semi was headed southbound on the interstate when the right front tire blew out and the driver lost control. This caused the truck driver to run into a canyon wall.

The driver suffered multiple injuries, including lacerations, pain in his neck and back, and more. He was transported by ambulance to the hospital for treatment.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
