There are nearly 12 million recreational boats across the country, according to statistics published by the Transportation Bureau. But recreational boating can be hazardous. In fact, there were nearly 5,000 boating accidents across the country in 2008, with more than 600 fatalities and thousands of injuries.
These injurious accidents can cause financial strife, long-term physical issues, and emotional trauma, especially when these crashes occur at the hands of a negligent driver. If you’ve sustained injuries as a result of another party’s negligent actions, you should contact a personal injury attorney to safeguard your legal rights.
