Kingman, AZ (June 25, 2019) – On Saturday, June 22nd, around 2:49 p.m., police responded to the scene of a fatal accident that took place on Interstate 40 in Kingman.
The accident, according to authorities, took place around the area of mile marker 70 in the eastbound lanes of the highway. The accident took place close to the Phoenix area and led to one fatality, though police have not yet identified the party involved.
The highway was closed down temporarily in that area so that a medical helicopter could land. We do not know the conditions of the other parties involved in the crash or what caused the parties to collide.
The Arizona Department of Transportation continues to investigate the accident at this time.
Our sincerest condolences are warmly extended to the family and friends of the party whose life was taken in this accident.
Fatal accidents take place far too often on our roads due to the negligence of other parties. More than 900 deaths took place in serious crashes in 2017 alone, while 55,000 people were hospitalized due to their severe injuries. As the summer heats up, many more people will be driving around enjoying the sights and tourism will increase, which could lead to higher amounts of lives lost on Arizona roads. Because of this, you might need the skilled and dedicated help of a wrongful death attorney to assist you at this time.
