Goodyear, AZ – Fatality Reported in Motorcycle Crash at MC 85 & Cotton Ln


Goodyear, AZ (October 13, 2020) – A man has died following a car accident in which a vehicle and motorcycle collided in Goodyear on Thursday evening.

Per reports from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), the accident happened just before 7:00 p.m. near MC 85 and Cotton Lane.

Deputies from Maricopa County were dispatched to the area and say that the motorcycle driver, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was an adult female, and the extent of her injuries is not known at this time.

MCSO traffic detectives are still investigating what led up to the crash. At this time, detectives haven’t determined whether speed or impairment might have been factors in the accident but say that they are continuing to collect evidence and information.

The accident remains under investigation.
