Glendale, AZ (August 29, 2019) – On Friday night, police responded to the scene of a pedestrian crash that took place at the intersection of 67th Avenue and Missouri Avenue.

Police do not have details regarding the accident but have stated that a woman and her child were struck and injured in the collision as they were crossing through the intersection.

Authorities have said the woman has since passed away from her injuries, while the child is expected to recover and remains in the hospital.

Police believe that the driver of the vehicle that struck them might have been intoxicated at the time.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
