Glendale, AZ (August 31, 2019) – A crash blocked the right lane of Interstate 10 at 59th Avenue on Saturday afternoon.

Authorities said the injury wreck involved one pickup truck and one sedan, which collided in the right lanes of I-10 westbound, also known as the Papago Freeway, at 59th Avenue around 5:30 p.m.

Police and fire rescue squads responded to the scene to assist injured victims, although authorities have not released the drivers’ information or the extent of their injuries. 

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the wreck at this time.
