Glendale, AZ (August 14, 2019) – An injury accident blocked the right lane of traffic on I-17 southbound before Glendale Avenue on Wednesday afternoon, August 14th.

According to officials at the scene, the crash occurred when two vehicles, both sedans, collided on I-17 southbound, also known as the Black Canyon Freeway, at Glendale Avenue around 5:56 p.m. Fire rescue units and local police were assisting injured victims and determining the cause of the wreck, though the drivers’ information and the extent of their injuries are not known at this time.

All lanes reopened just before 6:30 p.m.
