Glendale, AZ (November 5, 2019) – On Monday morning, November 4th, police responded to a serious bicycle accident at the intersection of 51st Avenue and Camelback Road in Glendale.

The Glendale Police Department immediately responded to the scene of the collision, where they found that a man had been riding his bicycle when he was struck by a passenger vehicle.

The bicyclist was immediately transported to a local area hospital via ambulance in critical condition.

The intersection was closed down in all four directions. Police in the area urged others to avoid that part of the roadway and find alternate routes.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
