Glendale, AZ (October 27, 2019) – A man and woman were rushed to the hospital after a serious crash on Saturday night.

According to officers from the Glendale Police Department, the crash occurred near Grand Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 8:30 p.m. Police say that a man and woman were both taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. It appears the man was driving one of the vehicles involved, and the woman was a passenger in that same vehicle.

Per reports from police, impairment is being investigated as a possible cause for the wreck. It is unclear if other vehicles were involved at this time, though 51st Avenue to 55th Avenue along Bethany Home Road was closed while officers investigated.
