Gilbert, AZ (November 5, 2019) – This morning, Gilbert Fire and Rescue Department and other responders were dispatched to a serious car accident at a Gilbert intersection.

Police have not yet commented on the exact circumstances leading to the collision but said that the crash took place at the intersection of Higley Road and Ocotillo Road.

Multiple vehicles were involved in the collision and a total of five people were injured and hospitalized.

Gilbert crews urged the public to avoid the area until they cleared the scene. Their investigation is currently ongoing.
