Flagstaff, AZ (July 13, 2019) – A car crash blocked the highway on US-89 southbound at Silver Saddle Road, north of Flagstaff, on Saturday afternoon, July 13th.

According to reports, the accident occurred around 4:45 p.m. and appeared to involve at least two vehicles traveling southbound on US-89 when they collided at milepost 423 at Silver Saddle Road. Fire rescue units and police were on the scene to assist the victims and investigate the cause of the injury accident.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation at this time. The drivers’ identities, as well as their conditions, have not yet been released.

All lanes reopened just before 5:40 p.m.
