Flagstaff, AZ (April 4, 2020) – A serious crash closed Interstate 40 near Winona on Saturday afternoon.

According to authorities, the wreck involved multiple vehicles, which collided in the center lanes of I-40 eastbound at milepost 224 around 4:00 p.m. Police and fire rescue units responded to the scene to assist injured victims, though authorities have not released the drivers’ information or the extent of their injuries at this time.

An investigation into the cause of the wreck is still underway.
