Clarkdale, AZ – 2 Injured in Motorcycle Crash on AZ-89A


Clarkdale, AZ (September 19, 2019) – On Tuesday, September 17th, police responded to the scene of a serious motorcycle crash that occurred on AZ-89.

Clarkdale Police responded to the scene of the crash around 3:40 p.m. Various emergency responders assisted, including the Verde Valley Fire District, Verde Valley Ambulance, and Jerome Police Department.

The motorcycle driver was transported by medical helicopter to the Flagstaff Medical Center, while the passenger was taken to the Verde Valley Medical Center by ambulance for treatment.

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as a 48-year-old man and the passenger was identified as a 43-year-old woman.

Police have not yet identified the circumstances that caused the driver to lose control but their investigation continues at this time.
