Chandler, AZ (December 13, 2019) – Injuries were reported in a serious truck accident on Interstate-10 on Friday night.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the accident happened when a commercial vehicle crashed and went off the on-ramp. The crash caused a natural gas leak from the vehicle on the eastbound lanes of I-10 at Interstate-17. The driver’s injuries are not life-threatening, though they were transported to the hospital. The other driver involved stayed at the scene, but it’s not clear how the accident happened at this time.
DPS said multiple agencies are aiding in the clean-up of the hazardous situation and are continuing to investigate the incident.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
