Chandler, AZ – Injury Accident Blocks Lane on L-202 at Dobson Rd

Chandler, AZ (August 12, 2019) – An injury accident blocked the right lane of traffic of Loop 202 westbound on Monday morning, August 12th.

Officials say that the crash occurred when at least two vehicles, both SUVs, collided on L-202 westbound, also known as the Santan Freeway, at Dobson Road around 7:30 a.m. Fire rescue units and local police authorities responded to the crash to assist injured victims and determine the cause of the wreck. However, the drivers’ information, as well as the extent of their injuries, is not known at this time.

All lanes reopened just before 8:00 a.m., though traffic remained slow in the area through the morning.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Injury Crashes in Arizona

The Arizona Department of Transportation’s 2018 report showed that there were more than 35,000 injuries resulting from car crashes across the state last year. And of the nearly 55,000 accidents that occurred, more than half involved at least two cars and two or more injured victims.

From long-term injuries and exorbitant medical costs to job loss or even death, car crashes can have tragic results for victims and their families. However, those affected by injury wrecks can contact a Phoenix car accident lawyer for help, and in some cases, seek the justice they deserve from a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit.
