Casa Grande, AZ (August 29, 2019) – Two drivers were seriously injured in a wrong-way crash that took place early Wednesday morning, August 28th on Pinal Drive.

Police officials said the accident happened when a 28-year-old woman was driving south in the northbound lane. She suddenly struck a man driving his vehicle in the opposite direction around 3:40 a.m.

Police said that both of the parties survived the crash and were taken to local hospitals via medical helicopters.

The cause of the accident is under investigation at this time.
