Camp Verde, AZ (September 17, 2019) – Police confirmed that several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that took place on AZ-169 in Camp Verde.
The accident, according to police, took place early this morning and involved three vehicles. Two of the vehicles allegedly collided head-on, leading to serious damages and injuries.
Two helicopters landed at the scene of the crash so they could transport injured victims to the hospital. However, the exact number of victims is not known at this time.
The Arizona Department of Transportation closed both directions of the highway in the area but had the road reopened within hours.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation by police.
