Camp Verde, AZ – Injury Crash on SR 260 Before I-17

Camp Verde, AZ (September 2, 2019) – An injury crash blocked the westbound lanes of State Route 260 just before Interstate 17 on Monday afternoon.

According to authorities on the scene, the crash involved multiple vehicles that collided in the right lanes of SR 260 westbound at milepost 287, also known as Finnie Flat Road, before I-17 around 3:30 p.m. Fire rescue units and police were assisting the injured victims and investigating the cause of the wreck; however, the drivers’ information has not been released at this time.

All lanes reopened around 4:30 p.m.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Injury Accidents in Arizona

Last year in Arizona, more than half of the total car wrecks that occurred last year involved more than one injured victim. According to a recent crash data report released by the Arizona Department of Transportation, more than 55,000 car accidents total occurred across the state in 2018, with more than 30,000 injuries.

Tragic effects may befall victims and their families, especially when accidents occur as a result of other drivers’ negligent actions. From exorbitant medical costs and critical long-term injuries to job hassles, devastating, unforeseen circumstances can plague victims and their families after an injury crash. But those affected can contact a Phoenix personal injury lawyer for help, and in some cases, victims may seek the fair compensation they deserve from wrongful death or personal injury lawsuit.
