Avondale, AZ (July 14, 2020) – Officers from the Avondale Police Department responded to a three-vehicle crash resulting in injuries on Monday morning.

Officials say that the wreck occurred around 8:39 a.m. near Dysart Road and Indian School Road. Avondale Fire and Medical responded to the scene as well and treated several of the victims involved. Rescue authorities noted that several of the victims sustained serious injuries and were transported to the local hospitals via ambulance.

An officer who was stopped at the intersection was also treated for minor injuries. Police believe that impairment was a factor in this accident, though the investigation is ongoing.
