Avondale, AZ (September 6, 2019) – On Friday afternoon, a two-car collision blocked the right lane of Interstate 10 before 99th Avenue near Glendale.
Local police officials reported that two sedans collided in the right lanes of I-10, also referred to as the Papago Freeway, just before 99th Avenue. Authorities were at the scene to assist injured victims and investigate the cause of the wreck, which occurred during rush hour, around 5:45 p.m. Witnesses say that one of the sedans, a black four-door coupe, rear-ended the other vehicle and spun out on the highway.
Avondale police officers gathered the information of both drivers at the scene, but their identifying information and the extent of their injuries remain unknown at this time.
