Sergio Escamilla

Founding Member 2009

Mr. Escamilla is the founding member and managing principal at Escamilla Law Group, PLLC. Mr. Escamilla is a graduate of Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. The son of two Mexican immigrants, Mr. Escamilla saw his parents work hard to support their family. The work ethic displayed by his parents taught Mr. Escamilla the value of hard work. Holding down a job while in high school and also working through college allowed Mr. Escamilla to successfully complete his Bachelor degree in Sociology, which ultimately led to Law School. 

While in Law School, Mr. Escamilla was a staff member of the Loyola of Los Angles Entertainment Law Review, where he served as a staff member, then his second-year editor.

While in Law School, Mr. Escamilla also served as an extern with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office. While assigned to the East Los Angeles office, Mr. Escamilla conducted numerous felony preliminary hearings and prepared numerous jury trials. It was with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office that Mr. Escamilla conducted his first full jury trial as a certified law student even before he was a licensed attorney. The externship allowed him to log numerous court hours as a law student. In June of 2000, Mr. Escamilla was admitted to the California Bar, where he has remained an active member in good standing ever since. Mr. Escamilla practiced law in Los Angeles for several years, mainly in the areas of criminal and family law. In 2007, Mr. Escamilla was admitted to the Arizona Bar and has practiced personal injury since then. 

Mr. Escamilla is also admitted in the U.S. Federal Central District of California, the U. S. Federal Eastern District of California, and the U.S. Federal District of Arizona. Mr. Escamilla currently manages attorneys and staff at both Escamilla Law Group’s corporate office in West Phoenix and in Mesa, Arizona. Mr. Escamilla continues to maintain his California license and actively assists Arizona residents that are injured in California. Mr. Escamilla is proficiently bilingual (Spanish-English) and is a member of the Mexican-American Bar Association (MABA), the Los Abogados Hispanic Bar Association, and the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association.  Mr. Escamilla is also a member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Lawyers.

Mr. Escamilla is proud to be both, bi-cultural and a dual citizen of both the United States, and Mexico.  Mr. Escamilla enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters at his home in Goodyear, Arizona and his second home in Quintana Roo, Mexico where he and his family are part-time residents.

David Andelin

Joined ELG in 2011

Originally from Southeast Idaho, Sterling David Andelin (“David”) moved to Phoenix to attend Law School at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.  During Law School, Mr. Andelin interned at the Maricopa Superior Court, worked at an immigration law firm, and spent a summer working in Lima, Peru at an international internship.  Mr. Andelin joined Escamilla Law Group in in 2011 as an attorney practicing exclusively in the area of Personal Injury Law.  In 2013, he moved to manage the Escamilla Law Group Mesa office where he continues to help injured victims.  Maintaining close ties to friends and family in Utah, Mr. Andelin is licensed in Arizona and Utah and assists injured victims in both states. 
Fluent in Spanish, Mr. Andelin enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures.  He has lived in Argentina, Peru, and visited several other countries in South America and Europe.  Combining his passion of the outdoors with traveling, Mr. Andelin has climbed mountains throughout North and South America including Mt. Rainer, the Grand Teton, Ritacuba Blanco, Colombia, Chimborazo, Bolivia, and Pico de Orizaba – the highest peak in Mexico.
Closer to home, he enjoys hiking Camelback mountain, skiing, rock climbing, and spending time with friends, family, and his two dogs.  He and his girlfriend participate in dog rescue organizations in the Valley, and are currently fostering their third foster dog. 

Norma Lebario

As a paralegal, Ms. Lebario established Southern Arizona Legal Aid (SALA) in Nogales, AZ. During her tenure at SALA, Ms. Lebario assisted with numerous cases on behalf of the underrepresented, underprivileged residents of Santa Cruz County in matters dealing with landlord/tenant issues, social security disability, unemployment insurance, immigration, and conducted do-it yourself divorce clinics in English and Spanish. She was also instrumental in filing several class action lawsuits against public entities. Ms. Lebario obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, after which she attended Arizona State College of Law.

While attending law school, Ms. Lebario worked as a law clerk for the Pinal County Superior Court during breaks. Ms. Lebario was admitted to the State Bar in October 1990 and has remained a member in good standing since. As an attorney, Ms. Lebario was employed by Pinal County as a Deputy County Attorney, where she represented the state on numerous matters and conducted numerous hearings and trials. Ms. Lebario worked as a Deputy County Attorney for 12 years. In 2002, Ms. Lebario transitioned to private practice limiting her practice to victims in personal injury law, and has exclusively engaged in personal injury practice ever since. Ms. Lebario is proficient in Spanish. Ms. Lebario is a member of Los Abogados Hispanic Bar Association and the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Lebario joined the Escamilla Law Group team in summer of 2014, where she continues to enjoy assisting victims injured in motor vehicle accidents.

Juan Ramirez

Juan Ramirez’s passion is to provide legal advice to clients in personal injury matters. Mr. Ramirez graduated from Phoenix School of Law and was admitted into the State Bar of Arizona after graduation. Before practicing law, Mr. Ramirez enjoyed a career as an electrical engineer.

Mr. Ramirez is a graduate of Arizona State University. He earned a B.S. in electrical engineering. Following graduation, Mr. Ramirez worked at the Yuma Proving Grounds for a Department of Defense contractor as an engineer project manager. There, he tested military vehicles during the Iraq conflict. Subsequently, Mr. Ramirez returned to Phoenix, AZ to work as a communications engineer for Arizona Public Service.

While in law school, Mr. Ramirez was an active member of the Hispanic Law Student Association and the Federalist Society. Mr. Ramirez also served in several student leadership roles, including president of the St. Thomas More Society and secretary of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.

Mr. Ramirez has a passion for serving his community and is involved in service-oriented organizations. Currently, Mr. Ramirez serves on the boards of St. Thomas More Society of Phoenix, Valley of the Sun Kiwanis, Catholic Phoenix, and he is a graduate of the Tepeyac Leadership Initiative. Mr. Ramirez is also an active member with Los Abogados Hispanic Bar Association and the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association.

Antonio Ceritelli

Antonio Ceritelli has spent his entire life serving others.  As a youth, Mr. Ceritelli was active in the Boy Scouts of America, serving his local community and eventually earning his Eagle Scout title.  At the age of eighteen, Mr. Ceritelli enlisted in the Marine Corps and spent the next twenty years serving his nation, including two combat deployments to Iraq and one to Afghanistan.  Mr. Ceritelli held numerus positions including: Infantryman, Communication Maintenance Chief, Drill Instructor, and Senior Enlisted Advisor.  In 2005, Mr. Ceritelli was recognized as the Marine Corps Drill Instructor of the year. In 2010, Mr. Ceritelli graduated from National University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration.  

After retiring from the Marine Corps as a First Sergeant, Mr. Ceritelli began his legal education at Arizona Summit Law School.  While in Law School, Mr. Ceritelli gained valuable experience assisting prosecutors in the Maricopa County Prosecutor’s Office and in the cities of Avondale, Buckeye, and Tolleson.  In just two years, Mr. Ceritelli graduated Law School, Summa Cum Laude, while participating in an accelerated program and was ranked third in his graduating class.  Mr. Ceritelli successfully took the Arizona Bar Examination and was subsequently admitted to practice law in the state of Arizona and the District of Arizona Federal Court. Mr. Ceritelli enjoys his current position as an Attorney at Escamilla Law Group, PLLC where he continues his lifetime of service to others by assisting the victims of tortious acts heal from their emotional, financial, and physical injuries.

Arely Cruz, J.D.

Arely Cruz has been with Escamilla Law Group since inception.  She was the first paralegal at the firm, and has been a valued staff member since 2009.  Even before joining Escamilla Law Group, Ms. Cruz had logged years of experience working assisting injured accident victims as a paralegal.   The experience and knowledge Ms. Cruz gained working exclusively in personal injury for numerous years prior to joining the Escamilla team impacted the structure of Escamilla Law Group positively while assisting hundreds of firm clients in the process.  Today, Ms. Cruz is the firms Operations Administrator and heads our office non-attorney office staff and assists with office protocols, procedure, customer satisfaction, and team and resource management.

While working full-time at Escamilla Law Group, Ms. Cruz was accepted to Northern Arizona University.  Ms. Cruz diligently completed her coursework at NAU while working with the firm and attending to her family.  She ultimately graduated and received her Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies of Justice Administration.  Without missing a beat, Ms. Cruz took the next logical step and continued her education by applying to law school, where she was ultimately accepted.  Once again, Ms. Cruz worked and attended familial obligations during law school.  She has now completed her studies receiving her Juris Doctors degree and is currently an Arizona State Bar candidate awaiting results.  Upon receiving her license Ms. Cruz plans to grow within the Escamilla Law Group family and join the team as an attorney where will continue to utilize her years of experience and knowledge in personal injury to help the firm grow and assist our clients.  In her spare time, Ms. Cruz enjoys spending time traveling with her family.
